What kind of physicals are done at Harastani Pediatrics?

Physicals allow you to be proactive with your child’s health care. From sports physicals to school physicals, the team led by Mohammad Al-Harastani, MD, FAAP, and Sami Al-Harastani, MD, at Lapeer Pediatrics in Lapeer and Harastani Pediatrics in Flint/Grand Blanc Michigan offers different types of physical exams. Many physicals are available, like:

Head start physical,
Day care physical,
Pre-school, school and college physical,
Work-required physicals including a TB Test.
Also provide convenient sports physical exams as part of routine check up.

Do I need an appointment to visit Harastani Pediatrics in Grand Blanc/Flint?

We strongly recommend making appointments, but our team at Harastani Pediatrics understands that life can be hectic and unexpected illnesses or injuries may need immediate attention. We are happy to schedule same-day appointments and accommodate walk-in cases.

What testing services are available at Harastani Pediatrics in Grand Blanc/Flint?

We provide several office-based laboratory tests, including COVID-19 testing, mono testing, blood glucose, urine testing, pregnancy tests, influenza testing, strep tests, RSV and blood lead and hemoglobin levels. Tests not offered in-house are sent out.

We also offer digital X-ray, electrocardiogram (EKG), TB testing, OAE Hearing screen, Tympanogram and Spot vision screening .

Do you offer X-ray imaging at Harastani Pediatrics?

Our office offer convenient on-site digital X-ray to help diagnose bones, joints, chest and abdominal complaints.

What is your policy on vaccines?

At Harastani & Lapeer Pediatrics, we respect each family’s right to make informed decisions for their children. While we strongly encourage vaccinations based on current medical guidelines, our office does not require families to vaccinate in order to be seen here. Our goal is to provide compassionate care to all our patients in a safe and respectful environment

We transferred care to Harastani Pediatrics from another local pediatrician and couldn't be happier. The staff is all very polite and welcoming.
